Every Vauz release is signed with our minisign key. Verifying takes two steps: first confirm the checksum file really came from us, then confirm your download matches it. Both steps are needed — a valid signature says nothing about the file you actually downloaded.
brew install minisign
minisign -Vm SHA256SUMS -P RWTcejyNskGe1Xc8GvEbKjUlI2wPh8XLVcs8Xcd3EraJvmSX7LuX8QQY
Signature and comment signature verified, followed by
the release version and date.
shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS
Vauz-…-arm64.dmg: OK. Anything else means the file
is incomplete or has been altered — do not open it.
RWTcejyNskGe1Xc8GvEbKjUlI2wPh8XLVcs8Xcd3EraJvmSX7LuX8QQY
Save this key once and reuse it for every release — that is what makes the check meaningful. It does not change between releases. The same key is published on our changelog and in our DNS records, so you can confirm it from somewhere other than this page. Download as file
